Who We Are
NorthVue is an independent media company founded in 2023, with its roots in the small town of Waialua on the North Shore of O'ahu, Hawai'i. Built on a passion for storytelling, creativity, and a desire to bring a fresh perspective to the media landscape, NorthVue was established with a vision that extends beyond traditional sports coverage.
What began with three individuals from Waialua, led by its founder, Alan Velasco, alongside two co-founders, Kennedy Velasco and Logan Pactol, became the foundation of NorthVue. The name itself reflects our North Shore roots, representing the community that shaped our beginnings and the perspective we hope to bring to the media industry.
From the beginning, NorthVue was driven by the belief that the media landscape had room to grow and evolve. We saw opportunities to approach coverage differently, explore new creative possibilities, and bring greater recognition to the athletes, teams, and communities whose stories deserve to be told.
Today, sports remain at the center of our work, with coverage spanning high school, collegiate, and professional athletics. While our roots are firmly planted in Hawai'i, our work extends beyond the islands, documenting sporting events and stories on the mainland as well. Through photography, video production, game coverage, and original storytelling, we strive to create content that captures not only the action but also the dedication, emotion, and experiences behind every moment.
